.. .. This is “The Simple Tarot” which I designed to be extremely friendly to beginners. With individual students, I like to gift a copy of it as their first deck, which ought to come with the course. For myself, I love it especially when I want a very clear voice.
.. .. The art work has a very Zen flavor because I was entering a Zen practice for the first time. It was a marvel discovering the profound mythic viewpoint of that tradition’s poetry, which gives it a profound clarity.
.. .. And of course its clarity is why I put a line or two of Zen-style verse on every card, striving to do justice to the broad and evocative traditional Tarot meanings.

>>Most Tarot decks have a distinctive design printed on the backs of its cards. This one here has a drawing called “Panoply Of Odysseus” on the backs, for example.
.. .. If you want that, and if your printer can print on both sides of your paper, use the “2 Sided” button. Then when you print, tell the printer to do 2-sided or “duplex”.
.. .. Otherwise use the “1 Sided” button and let your printer run normally. But you won’t get the printed backs.
